Production Supervisor

Location: Green Bay, WI    Type: Full Time   Shift: D (Weekend) Wage: Based on Experience

Now hiring experienced Production Supervisors for our weekend shift – You can work 36 hours and be paid for 40!

Snapshot: As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Plant Manager in formulating and implementing manufacturing policies and programs which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of operations. Your primary goals include directing, training, disciplining, and assisting manufacturing employees in producing quality product efficiently and accurately.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees
  • Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Overseeing and coaching employees
  • Ensuring the safe use of equipment and scheduling regular maintenance
  • Checking production output according to specifications
  • Submitting reports on employee performance and progress
  • Identifying issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements
  • Training new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
  • Enforcing strict safety guidelines and company standards

 

Requirements:

  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Problem-solving skills

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
