Warehouse Lead

Location: Green Bay, WI    Type: Full Time   Shift: Weekdays (M-F)   Wage: Based on Experience

Snapshot: Responsible for working with the Warehouse Manager to maintain the flow of goods and services through the entire company. The position will plan and assign tasks to warehouse employees as to priorities for the day. Work with a TMS and ERP system to schedule and enter shipments including FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL, and truckloads. Will also maintain inventory levels of finished product and setup and monitor delivery appointments for raw and finished goods.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage delivery appointments with carriers or 3PL’s to maintain flow of inbound/outbound goods
  • Receipt all finished goods and raw materials accurately while effectively utilizing available space
  • Coordinate daily with internal personnel to meet customer shipment dates and requirements
  • Coordinate an efficient warehouse workload while helping to optimize the daily workflow
  • Perform cycle counts on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis and reconcile the accounting records to the finished goods and raw material lots
  • Help loading and unloading of inbound/outbound goods as needed
  • Distribute incoming deliveries to the correct departments in a timely manner
  • Enforce all company and customer-required safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings any safety problems to the attention of the Warehouse Manager
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse, providing a safe clean environment
  • Perform any special assignments or projects as requested by the Warehouse Manager or members of the leadership team

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, well organized, detail and customer oriented
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of operating equipment as needed: Lift truck, roll clamp and standup picker
  • Knowledge of an ERP and TMS system
  • Ability to problem solve and make well-founded business decisions based on the information at hand
  • Work efficiently under pressure while managing time sensitive tasks
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, and complete daily activities based on the shipping schedule
  • Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent

Experience Requirements:

  • Forklift and roll-clamp experience
  • Valid driver’s license
