The Materials Handler is responsible for preparing and staging materials for production and shipping functions. This includes processing, checking, verifying materials received as well as completing related computer entries and documentation. The primary responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician position include:  
  • Responsible for prompt setup of paper converting equipment.
  • Identifies, monitors and performs troubleshooting for problems and breakdowns of equipment.
  • Maintains and repairs production equipment as needed in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
  • Keeps records of work performed and completes history logs.
  • Assures operation of safe and functionally sound equipment.
  • Maintains and orders supplies and parts as needed.
  • Occasional light building maintenance.

Job Type:  Full-time 2nd Shift.  Hours possibly to be flexed.


Required Education:  High School Graduate or GED equivalent with minimum one year mechanical and electrical degree.

Required Experience:  Two years’ on-the-job experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.

Machining and fabrication experience helpful.  Driver’s license.

The position is responsible for all aspects of operating a bag-making machine with an in-line printing press. Duties include assisting with machine set-up, making adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency, packaging product produced by the machine and performing periodic visual and system based QC inspections to insure proper and consistent adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.

  • Produce and package product per customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular product QC checks against established standards and take appropriate corrective action in the case of a variance.
  • Manage quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
  • Make machine adjustments as necessary to ensure proper settings and conditions are maintained to hold to product specification and quality standards.
  • Perform routine press maintenance, cleaning and adjustments.
  • Keep work area and machine organized and clean per standards.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

For more than 30 years, Wisconsin Converting Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of retail and industrial paper packaging . Located in Green Bay, WCI is looking for a talented Production Planner / Scheduler that thrives in a fast paced, fun work environment. This position is responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and equipment needed to manufacture our packaging solutions. You will be on the floor working hand-in-hand with our plant manager, shift supervisors, maintenance manager, and customer service to ensure our customers’ orders are manufactured on spec, on time, and as efficiently as possible.

The successful candidate will have a 2-year degree in supply chain management or a minimum of three years of experience in production scheduling. Demonstrated ability with MRP/ERP systems and excellent communication skills are essential.  The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong decision-making ability and demonstrated time management acumen.
